How do I find Intel Ethernet Network Adapters and drivers in the VMware Compatibility Guide?
- Go to VMware Compatibility Guide: I/O Device Search.
- Select Product Release Version: Pick the product version (optional).
- Select Brand Name: Intel.
- Select I/O Device Type: Network.
- In Keyword, enter part of the device name in quotes. For example, X710.
- Optional for SR-IOV: In Features, select SR-IOV.
- In Search Results, click the adapter name in the model column.
- In Model Release Details, view the list of all releases and compatible device drivers.
- For details on the release and driver, including a link to the driver download site, click + to expand the row.

| Note | Intel recommends using the Native Mode API-based ESXi drivers for all Intel® Ethernet Network Adapters. Native Mode API-based ESXi drivers naming scheme ends with the letter n. For example, the Intel Ethernet 700 Series Network Adapter Native Mode API-based ESXi driver is named i40en. When selecting a driver from the VMware VCG site, use caution to select the Native Mode API-based ESXi driver since the version number may be lower than the legacy (VMKLinux API-based) driver. |

Due to network issues with our ESXi hosts we have been advised by vmware to upgrade our network drivers/firmware.
We have 2 types of nic's, Emulex and Broadcom. We have managed to upgrade the Emulex drivers without problems but have problems trying to find the correct update for the Broadcom nics

I think I found the correct driver bundle from vmware but it contains approx 6 different versions.
Is the correct version for my nic this:
Broadcom_bootbank_net-bnx2_2.1.12b.v50.3-1OEM.500.0.0.472560.vib
Also, we have 4 broadcom nics on the one host, when i upgrade will it upgrade all of them or..?
